What is NETCamp?
SKILLS. COMMUNITY. (and FUN!)Open to all NETs, NETCamp is a place for us to gather, sharpen our skills, participate in a faux deployment or two, hang out at campfire, and enjoy our community.
The Lodge is fully accessible and sessions will be held both in the lodge and around camp, for all mobility and sun-tolerance levels! Camp is 30 minutes west of downtown Portland, so come just for Saturday or stay a night or all weekend. Just like for deployment, food is BYO and gear is BYO. NETCamp is just for NETs, so no plus-ones (aka significant others, spouses, girl/boyfriends, best friends). You need a current NET ID to attend, so if yours is out of date or you don't have one yet, use the badge request form. If you already have submitted a request, please have patience and do not resubmit; PBEM is processing a backlog of hundreds of requests due to technological annoyances. Friends of Portland Fire & Rescue is funding this event, so to help keep costs down we are asking for a donation from attendees. Suggested donations are: Saturday only ($15) - Saturday +1 night ($20) - all weekend ($25) |
Where can I sleep?
We have a variety of overnight accommodation options.
Only about 180 of us will get to stay overnight, so if you want to (and want your choice of sleeping arrangements), register now!
All accommodations are BYOB (B stands for Bedding, come on guys). We will create separate sleeping areas based on gender ID once registration is complete and we know what we need. Do note there's not a lot of privacy - so no sexy nightwear, friends, and bring your earplugs if you're in a community space! There are five and a half choices for accommodations, listed here from most luxurious to most primitive. |
